Recently renovated, Piper & Powlett offers up to six guests a country escape in a chic town, that is rewarding and indulgent for a truly relaxing break away. Beautiful restaurants and wine bars that pride themselves on their seasonal local produce are literally across the street and outside the front door ready for your enjoyment.
The house has taken inspiration from our beautiful surroundings whilst adding a contemporary twist to bring its Californian architecture back to life.
The house is beautifully appointed with pressed metal ceilings, dark stained floorboards, artwork, period fireplace, and a luxurious deep bath – designed for the perfect weekend or weekday break, an escape from home.

Restaurants, shopping and galleries are within a short walk. Park your car in our private car park at the rear of the property and enjoy all that Piper Street has to offer.

Our accommodation is non-smoking and is not suitable for pets. Whilst we want you to celebrate and enjoy the area, large parties or events are also not allowed.

A gorgeous space that is absolutely centrally located. Loved the fireplace and the ornate ceilings in particular. The late afternoon sun streaming through the windows was just perfect. This was such a wonderful experience. We loved the extra touch of fresh bread, softened butter, milk and bikkies. it made what was already a lovely experience that extra bit special. Jane, thank you for your prompt responses and flexibility.

Lovely home with all that you would need. we enjoyed the outdoor area and also the front verandah in the morning sun. Jane’s place is in a perfect location. Very much enjoyed our stay. We would love to go back and enjoy the open fire in the cooler weather – thanks you.

Lovely house in a great spot for foodie fans. We travelled with our two young boys at Easter and they loved Jane’s garden for the hunt, they also had a great time in the bath and by the fire at night. Botanical gardens are beautiful too and close by.

Beautiful house right on the nice cafe strip in Kyneton! The house is on a nice big block, with a lovely garden. Inside it is stylishly appointed and very comfortable and clean. Jane was a lovely host – and left small touches to make my stay special. Even better than the photos!
